Because dogs can be so different when it comes to size, even within the same breed, we are constantly looking to not only improve our product but improve our sizing guidance for all our customers. A lot of this comes in the form of customer feedback regarding sizing issues with various Gooby products. Once in awhile, as we consider the feedback, we will make updates or adjustments to the sizing guidance on our Goobypet.com retail website. Unfortunately, this change in guidance may not transfer to our 3rd-party retail partners as quickly as we'd like, which will lead to size discrepancies between vendors and even on the tags on the products themselves.
Please know that the sizing guidance here at Goobypet.com is the most accurate and up-to-date.
If you receive or purchase a product has a size guidance discrepancy with another source, please know you have not received an old item but rather that the sizing guidance for the labels or the various 3rd-party retailers may not have been updated.
Also note, that while the sizing guidance may be different, the actual size of the product should remain the same, with small variations due to manufacturing variances. For example, a Large Escape Free Easy Fit harness is still a Large even if the sizing guidance may have been updated, so if your dog used a Large Easy Fit harness in the past and you were satisfied with the sizing, you can be confident that buying another Large will fit your dog the same.
