Gooby understands that nothing is more terrifying than losing control of your dog on a daily stroll. While the Escape Free Harness is designed to reduce or even eliminate the risk of a dog escaping, particularly dogs that have a tendency to pull by backing up, the chance of escape may still remain if it's not fitted and/or put on your dog correctly.
Please see the following visual for more information on how to make adjustments and how to put the Escape Free harness on your dog.
1.) Pull the harness up onto your dog then slide the two pieces of the plastic buckle together until you hear a click.
2.) Make adjustments to the adjusters to ensure proper fit. (Note: Only applicable for the Escape Free Memory Foam and Escape Free Sports)
3.) The tabs on the straps shouldn't be set all the way down as there should be at least a room for the width of a finger between the back of the dog and the harness buckle. Please see: Escape Free® Functionality
4.) Attach the leash hook.
5.) Don't forget to reward your pup with a treat and/or a praise.
